Tāwharanui Peninsula

Award-Winning tauwhanui penninsula
Designed to sit lightly within its coastal setting, this expansive residence is composed of a series of interconnected pavilions arranged around a central pool terrace. Large glazed walls and deep overhangs blur the boundary between indoors and out, allowing the living spaces to open fully to the surrounding landscape and distant views. Natural materials including timber, steel and masonry provide warmth and durability while reinforcing the home’s strong architectural form. The interior is defined by generous volumes and refined detailing, with a dramatic stone fireplace forming the centrepiece of the main living space. Careful craftsmanship throughout the project contributed to the home receiving multiple Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards, including Craftsmanship of the Year. Jesse Green worked as part of the construction team responsible for delivering this award-winning project under Peter Dyer Builders. Thanks,
